Your COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment

You must book your appointment by clicking on the link in the invitation text you were sent by your GP practice. Vaccinations are strictly by appointment only, and anyone turning up on the day without an appointment will be turned away.

Once booked your vaccination appointment will be at Chancellor’s Hotel in Fallowfield (off Moseley Road, post code M14 6NN)

Car parking is available on-site, and you will be guided to your parking space by volunteer marshals on the day. If you are unable to get to Chancellor’s Hotel yourself, please call your GP practice who will be able to help.

Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your appointment time. This is essential to ensure the safe flow of patients through the vaccination centre and to ensure effective social distancing within the building. Please do not worry if you are late for your appointment, we will still vaccinate you. But it is important that people do not arrive too early.

Please do not attend the vaccination centre if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, new cough, change in smell or taste), or if you have had a positive Covid test within 28 days of your appointment date. In either case please contact your GP practice who will be more than happy to rearrange the appointment for you.

Please bring a face covering with you to wear at all times, unless you have a valid reason that you are unable to. Please attend alone unless you need a carer with you at all times. It is fine for someone to drive you to the vaccination centre if they are prepared to wait in the car whilst you are vaccinated.

For patients taking warfarin only

Please bring your yellow book with you on the day of your appointment (or other evidence of your warfarin monitoring). We may be unable to vaccinate you if cannot provide evidence of your up to date warfarin monitoring

For patients who are, or may be, pregnant

Although there is no evidence of any of the vaccines causing harm in pregnancy, more evidence is needed before it can be routinely offered to pregnant women. It may be recommended if you are at significant risk, but please discuss this with your GP before booking an appointment

For patients who are breastfeeding

There are no safety concerns or restrictions around having any of the vaccines whilst breastfeeding so please book a vaccination appointment as normal.
